Please log in to Music Teacher’s Helper to register for Summer Session lessons. There will be seven weeks offered; three in June, and four in July/August. I have entered the time in 30 minute increments, so if you take a 45 minute or hour long lesson, you will need to put your name in two spaces. I will make the necessary adjustments later.
If you do not see a time you are able to come, please email me directly with your time constraints so that I can try to accommodate your needs. I will have to make adjustments to consolidate the schedule if there are big time gaps, but the online sign up will at least give me a starting place.
I am also beginning registration for the fall, which will begin the week of August 15th. I am starting earlier to compensate for the fact that I will be away in London from Aug 31-Sept. 9. For those preparing for KYSO auditions, we will have a good start before the actual audition and will have time to prepare solo, scales and sight reading, which we will also be working on this summer. I hope to have the Fall semester and calendar done very soon, so please get back to me with preferences for day and lesson time ASAP. With four seniors gone, I have some openings in my schedule to expand lessons and take new students, so if you are interested in a longer lesson, please be among the first to respond.
Fall registration will not be online; that is something I have to do in order to fit the puzzle together and see the big picture easily. I am revamping Group Lessons so that we can also fit Chamber Music, Musical Minds and Cello Ensemble into the schedule and not overwhelm anyone who is also in KYSO. From the survey I sent out earlier in the semester, I would say that most of you would like to continue with at least three group classes per month, with the first week of the month off when we have Musical Minds, which takes place the first Saturday of each month from Sept. to April. I think this is a wise idea and I am planning accordingly.
Looking forward to further musical adventures!
